APPEAL                                     

Swat once famous as a peaceful scenic valley and popular tourist destination has turned into a battle ground of terrorism causing lawlessness, large scale displacement, unemployment and challenging situation for self-sustained institutions. The conflict has destroyed livelihood systems of the valley.
The inhabitants of the valley have been faced with a difficult situation of their history as they saw human being slaughtered in the main squares of the city, use of heavy arsenal, bombing and shelling having a terrifying effect and children are experiencing unprecedented torture.
           
            Khpal Kor (Own Home) Foundation (KKF) is a registered organization established for the welfare of the orphans of the area. The organization provides boarding and lodging facilities to more than 200 orphan students and quality education to more than 400 students from low income group of the community. The organization aims at provision of quality eructation to these orphans to help them stand on their own and avoid their exploitation and indulgence in criminal activities.             KKF is run mainly through donations from individual philanthropists and income from its own projects. Khpal Kor Foundation is struggling since its establishment to ensure sustainability and initiated projects to generate revenue and to support its objective. These include Tent & catering service, Computer center, and school and property business scheme.

     Due to the ongoing crisis in Swat, the main income sources of the Foundation have reached almost a vanishing position and donations and contributions have decreased to an alarming level. This has created an alarming situation within the organization and compelled the executive body of the KFF to extend an appeal for immediate support to all concerned to save future of hundreds of the children.
We request all humanitarian and development organizations, public and private institutions and individuals to extend support and cooperation to KKF in this hour of need
