Swat once famous as a peaceful scenic valley and popular tourist destination has turned into a battle ground of terrorism causing lawlessness, large scale displacement, unemployment and challenging situation for self-sustained institutions. The Education in Swat has badly suffered due to the ongoing crisis. There is complication through out the valley. More than 60 schools have burnt/ blasted by the miscreants while rest of the schools are either using by forces or displaces families are kept. Therefore education in the valley has greatly suffered. The wells off families have transferred their children to other place for keeping continue their studies.

As Swat Valley passes from its worst history. The insurgency since last two years have destroyed and ruined the whole valley in each and every section. The situation is uncertain and insecure. The economic condition of its poor masses has gone to a lowest level. The upper class of society has already left the area and migrated to other safer places. The middle and lower classes of society are facing the unexpected worst situation in the valley. Now it is not a Swat which once called a paradise on earth.
