Hostel facilities to the orphan children
Khpal Kor provides standard boarding and lodging facilities to the inmates on the pattern of cadet colleges and the administration strives hard for its ever-faster improvement. The services of a warden and a deputy warden, cooks and a Khadim (servant) are permanently available to the students. A busy and scientific schedule has been made for them covering their physical, moral and educational activities e.g. five times prayers, exercise (Morning) cleanliness (beds, environment & personal), tuition, homework, computer training, sports, foods, drink and rest etc.
Daily Timetable of Children:
The daily routine of Khpal Kor children is as following throughout the year.
Morning prayer, taking exercise, cleanliness, breakfast, preparation for school, inspection, departure for school, back from school, saying Zohar Prayer, Lunch, bed rest, theology period, Asar Prayer, Games from Asar to Maghrib, study hours Maghrib to Isha, Isha Prayer, Dinner, Boot Polish and going to beds.
Food Menu:
The weekly food menu of Khpal Kor is as following:
Beef three days in a weak.
Potato & Minced food one day in a week.
Vegetable two days in a week.
Pulses one day two-time in week.
Rice in dinner two times in week.
At breakfast tea and bread is offered.
Fruit is given on every Sunday.
Beside, special food arrangements (Bara Khana) are done on the national & historical days.
Boarding Facilities:
Open, spacious, well-furnished and ventilated rooms are used for boarding purposes of the children. Every child is provided with a bed, mate, bed sheets, cupboard and all other necessary item according to weather. Similarly, two suits of uniform, one-track suit for games, few suits for common use, two towels, brush (shoe & teeth), polish, soap and other necessary item of daily use are provided to every individual. Pocket money is also given to all the children on daily basis.
Health Care Unit:
For the better health facilities the organization has been established ten beds hospital in the building and the other side the services of various volunteer specialist Doctors, Medical officers and paramedics are available to all the children. The doctors and personnel’s of the community also provide them free medicines. Heach Incharge has been hired for timely health care facility to the children with illness. Ambulance is availabe round the clock for serious patients promptly treatment at the DHQ and Shifa Medical Center.
Regular Education:
Khpal Kor Children are provided modern education from class Nursery to Class 10th in Khpal Kor Model School. Computer Education is provided from class two to upward classes. It is hoped that after the completion of their education these children will get lucrative jobs and will earn honorable living for their families.
Co-Curricular Activities:
In order to inculcate confidence and broaden their outlook the Khpal Kor children are given opportunities to attend various functions hold in the city i.e. Qirat, Naat Khwani, National songs and skit competitions and declamation contests. They are also sent into various scout camps and events of the country.
Tours & Picnics:
Khpal Kor Children are taken to different beautiful places of the country especially of swat valley for picnics, tours and hikes. All these activities arrange for their enjoyment and refreshment.
Religious Education:
The services of two religious teachers are hired.
To inculcate moral and Islamic values in the children they are given religious and Quarnic education.
Sports & Games:
Khpal Kor children are provided opportunities to play different games. Facilities and equipments are available for the games of Cricket, Football, Badminton, Table Tennis, Gymnastic and Karate. The children have been divided into groups to play different games alternatively. All the children are also provided with sports kits and shoes bearing their school name.
