DISTRIBUTION OF RAMAZAN FOOD PACKAGES

Ramazan Food Packages containing (Flour, Sugar, Rice, Oil, Tea, Dates, Serif, Pickle, grains, cereal) were distributed among the 104 poorest family by Khpal Kor Foundation (KKF) provided by ISRA-UK (Feed the poor) the food packages will benefit 728 members of the recipient families.  more..

CASE STUDY OF MR. SHAHAB KHAN

 

 


Mr. Shahab Khan’s father Mr. Sarfaraz Khan was a police. Law enforcing agencies were the special  target in the preliminary stage of crisis in Swat. Mr. Sarfaraz was heartlessly killed by the Taliban while traveling in his vehicle along with his family. He left behind 2 sons and 1 daughter in helpless condition as he was the only supporter and sustainer of his family. When he died there is no one to afford the expenses of this family. Mr. Shahab Khan joined Khpal Kor Foundation (Orphanage) to continue his further education. 
After his father merciless death his children become psychologically affected and this also affected their studies. Shahab Khan condition was very worse and he was missing his father all the time sometimes felling to sweep and crying due to metal disorder. Similar condition was also of his mother.
For positive change in the critical situation of Mr. Shahab Khan his family decided to separate Shahab Khan in order to change the environment and to feel differently and his education expenses was also a hurdle into this family.
Consequently Shahab Khan joined Khpal Kor Foundation but his psychological problem was still the same and he couldn’t pay attention to his studies. Therefore Khpal Kor Foundation felt the seriousness of the situation and sought for better solution.
Finally Khpal Kor Foundation requested to the UNICEF for provision of psychological support to Shahab Khan and some other similar children affected by the war in Swat crisis studying in Khpal Kor Foundation as the Foundation was not in position to afford the expenses of psychosocial support. 
In response to the request by Khpal Kor Foundation UNICEF provided the services of 2 psychologists on emergency basis. The affected children were regularly counseled by the psychologist and with help of counseling the condition of Shahab Khan moved towards improvement.
Now Shahab has enough improved and his previous condition has changed to great extend.  He has been involved in other several activities which has diverted his attention towards positive activities now 1)  best proctor in School
2) Best Room Monitor in Hostel.
3) Best actor in co-curricular activities.
4) Best dancer of the last Golden night function.
5) Academic result improved.
